Hey guys - need some advice here.

You all got me started on all this Titanium stuff. :)

I never realized that the Fossil watch I've had for years was Titanium. It's been sitting in a drawer with a dead battery for the last year and a half. I got it ou the other day just to look at it, and it says "solid Titanium" on the back of the watch. I was pretty suprised.

Bottom line is that this thing is filthy. What can I clean it with? I might need to soak the band to get all of the junk off it.

Thanks for the help!

Steve

What all over it? If you are talking about scuffs, that can easily buffed out with a worn Scotch Brite.

You'd also be suprised what the pink eraser on the end of a pencil will do. When I worked at Oakley, one of the watch techs showed me this and I couldnt believe it

No problem,

Yeah it sort of de-grimes it. Also works decently for removing little scuffs in Ti with more of a flat finish. Its gotta be the right kind of pink eraser...if you think about it, the normal pink eraser does have a pretty abrasive texture to it. Stay away from the more sticky or waxy erasers (the ones that usually smudge up the paper youre using it on.
