Hey all,
I'm in need of a new watch. I'm willing to spend around $120.00 on one.
I don't like the flashy stainless ones or anything like that.
Preferrably black.
"tactical" if you will :)
Thanks guys

Lot of nice Casios and Timex's way under that price.
Or you could step up and get something like this. Can't get much better than a Seiko at this price. But some Zulu straps and that is about as tactical as you can get. I know you said not SS, but I am guessing this should still fit the bill.

You might be able to find the Luminox 3100 Series for around that price. I paid that for my 3900.
They are decent; tritium filled hour markers and hands, rotating bezel, water resistant to 200M, and used by the Navy Seals (for what that's worth). If that doesn't scream tactical, you must be a Ranger.

Lots of G-Shocks in that range.

Heres a classy looking one that fills the bill, just slightly over your stated price, but nice, and its an Eco-drive too boot.

You're not going to get any more tactical at $120 than this -- it even has tritium!
It is on sale right now for $119.99 -- http://www.lapolicegear.com/trclp6ty6wa.html

G-Shock would be an excellent choice...plenty of models available.

The G-Shock is the Glock of the watch world.
For the price, I think that the G2300 series has the best features.

BTW, if you go the analog route (I'd go with an automatic...) and don't plan on using it for diving, I would recommend getting one with the 1-12 bezel (instead of 0-60)...it's good for setting a secondary time zone, if you have a need for that...I wish I could get a bezel like that for my SKX033, but Mr. Yao doesn't make one...:(
I think he did these, anyway...
