What gun and How do you carry it for CCW.
I carry a Ruger KP97DC .45 in a IWB Holster. I wear my shirt tail outside my pants to cover it. This is the most comfortable way I have found for me.

Hi all, just found this forum - my second post already.
I normally carry a Sig P239 in .40 with Hogue grips and 165gr Gold Dots. It rides in an IWB holster.
With that goes a Spyderco Starmate or Dragonfly although my new Delica in ZDP-189 will be thrown into the mix.
With those goes a Surefire G2 or a smaller (and brighter) Luxeon 3 light that I modified myself.

I generally limit it to one of these; each in their intended & apparent fashion:

I carry a glock 26 in a chest rig made by Robert Hummelbaugh of Survival Sheath Systems.* This rig can be made for grip up or down, which I prefer.* I've used this setup when mountain biking, and have found it's very secure.*
Robert also has a shoulder rig with no belt ties needed.* He uses a non slip shoulder pad which stops the rig from sliding around.* This is also a comfortable setup which moves with you and has no restriction on your body.*
Check out his site, www.survivalsheath.com* *

Way back in 1997 I carried a 4" Smith 686 in a Kramer OWB holster. Grips were Pachmayr Compac Professionals. Used to wear this even under a Polo Shirt. Thought I was very well concealed. I was not.
I grew older and noted that sometimes the holsters themselves bulked up the gun, not just the grips. Pushed the size envelope down by trading the Smith 4" to a Taurus 605. Holster? Bought a cheap Uncle Mikes IWB holster, the soft suede looking one then I took the plastic clip off. Shoved all the way down inside the pants with only the grips exposed makes for a more streamlined carry. Cylinder is actually under the belt line.
Makes you claw through the draw intially but works fine when you get used to it. And drawing the gun sometimes means dropping your holster too...but what the hell, If I draw it, it means the caca has hit the fan.
Now, down to even a T-shirt and wood grips on the gun, It is all but invisible on me.
The downside is that carrying everyday means replacing the holster every 3 months or so.

I'm not an expert when it comes to holsters, but I've heard good things about kydex ones (reasonably durable, good retention, simple to maintain). Perhaps a kydex holster would last you longer than 3 months.

Yes it would sir but for my needs the soft suede one adds a peace of mind to my concealability concern. The soft suede thing adds practicaly nothing to the gun. It works well even without the clip.

I'm CCW'ing a Colt Defender in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II IWB. On my off-side is a Rosen SOS with a Surefire 6P and extra magazine. This is carried on a Beltman 1 1/2'' belt.
I always have some type of pocket knife and my cell. phone. I plan on some upgrades and additions to my carry equipment as I can afford em'.
