I really had my heart set on getting a EcoZilla, but I found it at the local mall, and it was just too big for my wrist.* I still wanted it large though.* I did some reasearch and I was lucky enough to find the perfect watch from the Poor Man.
This is the Air Diver.* I call it my BabyZ.* I love the way it looks, reminds of what a baby EcoZilla would look like.* The BabyZ certainly is a child in size when compared to the EcoZilla, but it is certainly not small.* The diameter of the case itself is 44cm wide, and it a nice 14.5cm thick.* More or less middle of the road when comparing this watch to the dimensions of large diver watches such as the Tuna Can, Monster, Sawtooth, etc.
So here are a few interesting and important specs.* The watch is running on Citizen's Eco-Drive, so note the wavy solar panel.* It's a nice touch.* Citizen has come a long way in making solar powered watches look great.* My BabyZ is also entirely made of titanium.* And for all of you who wanted a EcoZilla with Duratect, maybe you are willing to settle.* The entire watch proudly layered in Duratect.* Sweet!* The ultimate in lightweight and durabilty.* There is a photo at the Japanese Citizen website showing a titanium band treated with Duratect holding up well to 500 strokes from a steel brush.* The watch weighs in at 120 grams when sized to fit my 7 inch wrist.
The BabyZ is definitely a watch to consider for those who are looking for a large diver's style watch.
