Hello this is a great place to hang out. Anyways most of my EDC can be found at Target, Walmart ,Cingular stores, and Best Buy. I work during the day so my light is not that great, butt after hangin here for a while I know I also need a real light. The hunt is on (ha). The last pic is my night EDC, you can also see my cheap 5 LED I got at Lowes. Don't flame my light please, I'm a huntin and savin as we speak.

I like this light, but my wife won't want to here about the 175 price tag. Looks like I can get a nice light for 50-60 bucks. Not to bad I'd pay that for a blade why not a light

I like your set up. I'm not gonna flame your light but Ii will give you some advice if thats OK. If you are going to use the light for self defense with your firearm get one that puts out at least 60 lumens. That is generally the accepted minimum light output on the low end. I love the surefire G2 its the best bang for your buck. You cant go wrong with Surefire or Streamlight for defensive lights.
Just my .02 cents.

and if you decide on a G2 make sure to get a P61 bolb for it. The P61 throws out 120 lumens and that my friend is bright.

All the stores mentioned in your original post will have lights that you could use too. Brinkman Maxfire and* Inova come to mind.
From your post since you shop alot at stores, try going to Batteries Plus, they have Scorpion Flashlights. Another option is to look for local police/emt supply stores, call them and ask if they carry alot of lights. Then go look.
Your setup looks good to me. Along the lines of what I got.*

So Lo,nothing wrong with less expensive EDC.Some guys buy the most expensive items the see and then are affraid to use them.Immagine having to hide a $250.00 knife in a flower box outside the baseball stadium because you didn't know they had metal detectors at the gate. Then worry about did someone see me put it there? Sometime cheaper is best.Nice selection of stuff you have.tom.

yeah thats my thinking Tom. I love my slvr phone it holds more than 7 hours of mp3s. Love it. Anyways I use my clutch everyday, made by gerber. Works great also. I was going to get a juice (at target) but likes the tweezers in the clutch. Thanks for the coment on my ring, my wife did good. Man I beat the hell out of that ring. I own a bodyshop and car lot. I'm a wrenchin all the time. O well she said she bought it to wear?

You have quite an acceptable set-up there. If you want to improve on your light, there are many choices starting with a keychain light like Fenix E1 for $26. Not a bad price.

yeah I really need to order one of those, but as much as I'm under cars and under dashes I need a nice bright pocketable light also. Any suggestions? Would like to be under $100. Thanks in advance
