Here is my Honey girl:
Glad you folks enjoyed the little "Doxie" gif. I just learned a new thing; Dachshunds are called Doxies by afficionados. We Australian Shepherd lovers call them "Aussies," appropriately enough. Shetland Sheepdogs are called "Shelties." But, Border Collies don't have a nickname, as far as I know.
I can tell you this little joke, though, about Border Collies. "How many Border Collies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" Answer: "Only one, but it'll cost you extra if you want him to re-wire your house for you." Border Collies are smart dogs. As a matter of fact, it's almost like having another person in the house.

It makes my back hurt just to look at him, but this is one of his favorite sleeping positions.

I have a standard long-haired red that is 9 yrs. old....Since we worry about his back, I made him a ramp so he can go on the couch in the front room, his place to watch the world go by.......I'll post a picture tonight..

This is Baker, a brindle mini doxie that just arrived in NJ two days ago from Louisiana. He sleeps and plays at a children's shoe store we visited especially to see him after being told about him in another store. He loves his little Mr. Bobo.
