M.Tex,

I will be ordering another batch of paracord, Spro split rings, and Berkeley stainless steel clips early next month. I can make you a lanyard for the whistle.

The only thing that I cannot seem to locate is Ti tubing to use as sliders on the lanyard like on my setup. I can use aluminum tubing as well since they can be found readily in my area.

PM me so I don't forget.

Can it be replaced later ? Ummm I think I should wait. Ooh and could you tell

From the pics, it kind of looks like the Atwood whistle has some clear shrink tubing on it.?... If so--pretty clever

I've checked and can't seem to find titanium versions of those SS gate clips (about 20mm, same size as used on Photon Microlights). Does anyone know of a source ?? I would like to reeplace my SS with Ti if possible.

Thanks, Cliff

Where did you pick up those triangle plier-crimp things you sent me? I doubted you about them before, but the ones you sent me have served me very well.

Thanks again!

Wow, nice setup!
You ever tell anyone that you're carrying around $50 in just shackle, clips, & swivels? (just to get a reaction of course) ;D

I do hope OdBm believes that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :)

My keychain carry now includes: A paracord lanyard with ti ferrules, atwood whistle, Spro power rings and heavy swivels, berkeley clips and a ti pillcrusher!

Bob.

riprater,
Yes, that is shrink tubing. It keeps the whistle from beating up on its companions.

Badgerboy,
I don't think gate clips are made that small. I have done an extensive search without luck.

dinoadventures,
I bought the triangle rings from worthco (http://www.worthco.com/rings/drings.html).

GiveMeLight,
A few people outside of this BB have asked. They were especially interested in the Snap Shackle.

Bobby D,
Glad you like the setup. Mine should last many years or when I decide to modify it with something better or nicer. ;D

Sir Sean, check again! Go to International Orders at the bottom of their pages. $25 minimum order, with a maximum 4lb limit (lots!) Shipping is usually about $10.

I'm currently awaiting my second order from them. They're a little slow to get it in the post, but are very helpful.
