Since it is once again summer, and most of us will spend at least some time either on or in the waterways of our areas we all would do well to remember to put our nice watches on a band like a Nato, Zulu, Rhino, or some other one piece band that goes thru both sets of pins in a continous loop. I learned this the hard way and warned people on another site this spring and already someone else has lost a fine watch (I think it was an Omega) to the ocean.
Last summer I lost a nice Citizen while sailing on Lake Huron. I reached out to grab something and the watch caught on a cable. The pin popped from the nice solid diving rubber strap and the watch fell off my wrist and into the deep before I could blink.
Protect those watches if you can, it is not expensive and might save a favored watch.
