Very nice. I don't see a price.
(I know, if you have to ask the price you, most likely, can't afford it)

imagine what a trip it would be to fire that thing. I hope that you aren't recoil shy.

Yeah, really. A typical 1911 weighs like what? 38 oz? So that makes this gun at about only 20 oz.

Or less, it looks like it is sized between ab Officers model and a Commander.

Wow, yeah.* Definitely doesn't look adjustable.* Didn't notice that before.
Here's (http://www.taurususa.com/products/gunselector-results.cfm?series=TI2) a fe more titanium revolvers.* Entire gun is made of titanum.
That IS the coolest gun I have ever seen!! DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!! I so want one!! That gun consists of 2 loves of mine: 1. 1911 & 2.Titanium! DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

I was looking at the sights myself. I am not sure about that arrangement. I would certainly need to get a good look at the real thing before I could make up my mind if I liked it or not.

They'd definitely force you to correct any mechanical issues you might have with trigger pull that you might otherwise compensate for with a sight adjustment. Still, not being able to dial it in for a specific yardage is a shortcoming in my book.

OK guys, could get an answer on the price from here, so I took the initiative to call them myself and I found out the price.
Anybody want to take a guess?

Less than $5,000 but more than $2,000.

$2250...
This isn't as bad as I was expecting. One can easily exceed that amount with all the bells and whistles in a 1911 custom.
I still want to see, and even better, fire one IRL before I would consider it. Those sights have me worried.

If I had that much to spend, it'd go towards a class III license and an MP5.

OK, just because we have a great group of people showing interest with this gun, I'll tell you guys the price that I got over the phone. ;D
First off, the guy said that he is actually still losing money on this thing because of the number of labor hours involved. Also, he has only sold 2 of these. One of them will be used in the new movie coming out "Miami Vice". Didn't know that movie was in the making, but that is what the guy told me.

That much, heck, $4000 is still a little off.

Wow.. that is a lot of money. And you say he claims he is losing money at that price?
I have to wonder what his fully burdened labor rate is.
I'll pass... wasn't crazy about the sights anyway...

If I really wanted the novelty of owning a total titanium gun, I would go with an all titanium 7 shot .357 revolver by Taurus. Less than $800.

Just took a look and found out that the Taurus is also available in .41 mag, .44 spl, and .45 Long Colt.
These are 5 shot however.

Nice gun but for that price you could get two well dressed Kimbers and still have money left over for range time and ammo. I have seen Ti guns come and go and honestly Ti is not all that. Many makers jumped onto the Ti bandwagon ten years ago and most have dropped all but one or two models from their catalogs.

Can you imagine the kick on that thing? You'd better have a good grip so that you don't drop you $10,000 gun.

You think it would be worse than an AL Commander or Officer's ACP?
