How about a speed strip or two?

Too much ammo is never a problem.

I don't really get the nylong cuffs..... They're for tying up people's hands I imagine? :help: Google yielded only bondage stuff >:(

Wouldn't some large wire ties (zip ties, I think most people call them) be safer and easier to carry???

Dave, I like the speedstrips and do carry them on occassion. I also have used speedloaders but have had them open one to many times in my pocket. Loading a small revolver is difficult at best under stress with a speedstrip or speedloader. I always keep a BOB in my personal vehicle that has a Glock 22 with light mounted, 5 magazines, 2 speed strips, Raid Shirt, AR Magazines, Buckshot and Slugs, IFAK, Gloves, Water, Munchies, Flexcuffs, Emerson Commander and a bunch of other stuff. Next to my BOB I have a plate carrier with muti hit plates. I tend not to carry a bunch of flashlights because all of my weapons have mounted lights except for my revolver. What I have shown is my basic EDC that is bare minimum. The above would be grabbed if needed to take action in any difficult situation such as active shooter.

When I am not working I tend not to inject myself into situations that require me to take enforcement action unless absolutely necessary. I would rather avoid a situation than get in the middle and get shot by the responding officers. This has happened several times in the last couple of years most recently in Norfolk Va.

CanDo, I love the nylon cuffs. I can wad them up and put them in the bottom of my left front pocket. Flexcuffs are better but they are very bulky and difficult to carry.

Hmm, Interesting to see that the flexcuffs are just fancy zip ties ... I guess I was on to something. Whatever works for you, thanks for serving, stay safe. :)

Chuck,

Clearly you have your act together. Very well thought out planning and execution. Will you be my new neighbor? Mine is a flaming liberal and cop hater. ;D

Interesting Nylon Cuffs.
Are those DIY or off the shelf products?

Vinn, the nylon cuffs are off the shelf. You can get them from most police supply outfits.

Wolf, thanks. I'll take five for sure all day long. I love revolvers. They are just very cool. Maybe it's becuse I watched all those TV shows about detectives with a 5 shot when I was a kid.
