Maybe some of your have been waiting for me to get this in. Maybe you guys have given up and thought I have changed my mind. Don't worry, about a week ago, I called them up and they told me that they haven't delivered my order yet because the grommets kit is not in yet. They told me that they would go ahead and deliver the sheath press, and the grommets will follow. The shipping on the press is only like $6 and it looks kinda bulky, so I am sure will be the slowest possible shipping on this package, but I am expecting it anyday now. I could at least play with kydex before the grommets come in.
Shouldn't be long now. Thanks folks!

Just got the press and the kydex. Just waiting on the grommets. I can still play a little with what I got for now on my day off.

Death -
How hot does the Kydex need to be to form? I was looking at the kits also, and saw a heat gun that ranged from 700F up. Seems like it would crack or tear if you tried it at room temp. :(
Just wondering.

If you use an oven, it should work at around 375. But you may also use a heat gun that heats the kydex at 400 degrees. Hope this info helps.

I'll post the links to each piece of equipment that I purchased when I get home. I'm at work right now on my cellphone.

Here's a few more sheaths that I made. The one on the right is of a Top-Popper. Very difficult to make a sheath for because of it's thickness, width and odd shape. Came out great though. The next one is of a titanium tool key. Something similar to many Atwood tools, so expect an a Sheath for an Atwood tool to look quite similar. I could also put more holes if you want to wear these things around your neck.

I'll put my ol' friend Knuppel2 to work on hammering you some grommets.
:knuppel2:
Now don't say I never did you any favors.

Thanks for the offer LowWorm. I should have been more specific. I can actually get a hold of the grommets, but they come in a kit that comes with the tool to place them on the Kydex. I'll call them again tomorrow to find out what is going on.
Thanks LowWorm! :highfive:

Great news, the grommet kit is on the way. I also received some more kydex today. I can start taking orders if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM. O0

Can you make a sheath for the ARC AAA, and the Mini-Bic?

Yes I could. Take note guys. I don't have many of the items that you want sheaths for, so they will have to be sent to me.

I received my grommet kit finally. I also have some Chicago Screws coming in as well for those projects that require 3 layers of kydex. I am pretty much open for business. I will post a seperate thread when I actually put the gromments into place in some of the work that I have done.
The more I do, the more pics I can take. So let me know if any of you would like to get some sheaths done. Thanks!
