I am sort of looking around for a compact pistol with a rail for a flashlight.* Probably 9mm or 380 auto, mostly for plinking and training, and of course, to mount my little light on.* :)

Not many choices give you small size and light/acces. rails.Look at the Springfield XD in 9mm. I can't think of a 380 with rails that I would recommend.

I don't think the baby Glocks have a rail. Ho about looking at Sig's.

The H&K P2000SK is the best solution right now if you want a light rail... at least until the Beretta PX4 sub-compact is out (you didn't hear that from me).

Glock 19!!!
The 23 is a good choice too if you want something in .40S&W.

The sub-compact glocks do not have rails. The 19/23 is still small enough for easy concealment. I went from a sub-compact (27) to the 19 for daily carry and never looked back.

Springfield XD Subcompact seris is Light/rail compatable as well, I'd go GLOCK in what ever config. YOU are most comfy with IMHO
