You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and
should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct
tape.

Dont' forget to include one of those triangular-shaped carabiners designed to hold a roll of Duct Tape, preferably hanging from the bottom of the WD40 sheath!

If you add a small pair of vise-grips, I think you just about have it covered.

But you still need a knife to trim up the duct tape :agree:

Make sure you use multiple wraps so you always have duct tape :)

And cable ties, in case it's not supposed to move quite as much as it does.

I must be old-school...I prefer to use baler twine over duct tape.

Hmmm, if that is all we need. The forum is now obsolete.

I ALWAYS keep a can of WD40 in my glovebox. Got a wonky electric window that keeps popping out of its runners (ruddy BMWs!) & giving it a liberal spray of WD40 to keep it running smoothly is a darn sight cheaper than getting myy window repaired!

Don't forget about the smaller cans. I see them in the check out lines quite frequently. These seem a little more suitable for EDC. They also have precision aplicators. :D

Dub's 40's is known in my trade as 'fitter's mate'. It'll get you out of many a tight spot. That and a 2lb ballpein hammer.

I bought this little neoprene sleeve for fishing tools at the local fishing supply and it came with a little thing labeled WD-40. According to the instructions, it lines the inside to protect your tool. I used mineral oil instead, in case it would ever have to touch food..

It "may" be all we need, but certainly not all we want.
