Peter's Whisker

Hi all !!!!!! Peter made this little tool for me to set some special window switches called Whiskers, hence the name. It is about 1 1/2 long with a screwdriver and pry-tip on it. The two holes hold the switches in the window sash. It is made out of Ti !!!!!!!!!! He did this from a drawing I sent him and he had it to me in about 3 days. Just another fine example of Peter's most excellent work!!!! Sorry for the crappy pics, the wife has the good camera!!!!!!!!

Why did you choose the names Booger, Skeeter, and Whisker?

Honestly I don't know. Well, Doug picked the name "Whisker" because that's what the little dealies that he is installing are called. But coming up with names is one of favorite things to do. I have piles of lists of possible names for future tools. I write them on dry erase boards in my shop as I think them up. Wait until you see the Sumo.... ;D

Peter: I had the same idea when you asked of toy ideas you could make very easily for a low price ... how much for those babies if you pumped them out on a larger scale? If you could hit $15, I would name my first child after you!

If that little baby would be too costly to make with the defined screwdriver edge on the end, maybe just a bar with a 20 degree angle shaved off one side with a hole on the other side to go on the chain?

Kind of like the gerber sharpener if you take out the screw ... u could call it .... an .... "Atta-Boy"
