My daughter loves her G shock, I hate them >:( . Such is life :whee:
Why do you hate them? I have never had a G-Shock before.

I wore a G-Shock so long that the band actually disintegrated! After that, I still used the watch for a couple more years with no case. Really can't find a better deal for the $$ than a G-Shock...

I've bought one of this on Ebay on last Thursday, I had this model in the early 80'S, I think it was the first G-Shock in the market.

Nice watch, TKC! The yellow face makes it what it is. ;D
I love my Baby-G. Think it is a nice balance between feminine and functional:
I saw the baby G-Shocks, and they are too small for me. Is that the color that you have?

Yep, I love the clear, since I wear it every day and I don't have to worry about it clashing w/anything. :queen:
Thinking that the Casio Sweet Poison Baby-G in black and pink would be fun, too. Really wish they'd do a Baby G with a yellow face, though...and give them some better features. They seem to stiff the Baby-G line on some of the cool capabilities that the men's line has.

Nice watch! I don't know how the pink would go with my eyes though...
I am probably the only woman that HATES pink!!

You know, I'm not a pink fan, either... it's fun as an accent once in a while, but not for me as an overriding motif.
New watch come in yet?

G-Shocks are great. I have a G2310B. I wore it Monday when we were working cows and calves and I can't remember how many times it got hit, either by a cow, a calf, or on the corral. It never even phased it. It's my watch of choice when I'm working outside and I know things are going to get rough.

Exactly, when I know it is going to be messy I'll wear my blue DW-069. It's been beaten on for 7 years now. I'm going to have to put on a new band shortly as the currrent one is getting too worn.
I absolutely pleased with how long the batery has lasted, and how much abuse the watch can take. I thought only Timex 'took a licking and kept on ticking'.
TKC - you will love it!
On a side note, in Simbad's post, what is the little icon above the seconds display??
Thanks. According to UPS tracking, it will be here tomorrow!! Wahoooooooo.
It arrived today!! I LOVE this watch!! It is sweeeeet!!

I like my Seiko automatics, but G-Shocks rule!!! I've got 10 G-Shocks. The wife has 3 Baby-G's. I'm wearing my Frogman today, with band adapters and Zulu dive strap.

Thanks!
It turned out that I am allergic to the band. I got a rash every time I wore it.

Bummer for you! I'm personally not into analog-digital hybrids...whatever floats yer boat! :D
I am really not into analog-digital either. I got it for S&G, just to check it out.
I very much like automatic watches, like my TAG & Steinhart.
