I believe it is a Leatherman Mini Tool. It folds down to about two inches but can unfold to a set of full sized pliers. It has a clip point blade, a file with a flathead screwdriver, a can opener, and a bottle opener. The openers are builts into the handles which fold out. The model is retired but can still be found on eBay and other such sites.
