Is you Emerson new? It looks pretty clean.

No, I've had it about 2 years. The shadow on the blade covers where the finish is worn off the blade and the clip on the other side is marked up also. The "Wave" System is fast!!

I was gonna add my Fobus 0.02, yeah they're pretty low-end gear. The famous "Fobus gun grab" is done by grabbing for the opponent's gun, and when they attempt to keep the gun in the holster, you push down and pull, shearing off the screws, leaving the paddle in their pants, and taking the gun away, holster and all. Hey, I carried a 1911 in a Fobus Roto-holster for awhile, it beats sticking it in your undies, but it flopped around way too much for me. I like the mag carriers though. The thin paddle is easy to get on/off and is very secure once in the pants. I now keep the Fobus in my Airsoft gear. (the cheapo spring-powered 1911 I had has long since been torn to pieces for disarm practice, so I'm looking for a new one. ;))
What sidearm do you carry on-duty? The Hellstorm gloves are very nice, BTW. NICE Commander. Very sweet. I EDC a CQC7. The Emerson wave ROCKS. :)

For the Fobus holster, I agree its not a retention holster or very sturdy, but it's very comfortable. I only use it mostly ging back and forth to work, because of its easy on and off.
At work, I have to carry a S&W 4583(JUNK!). We are supposed to go to the new Sig 220 DAK.
I also carry in my patrol car a Remmington 870 and my own Rock River AR-15.

I've got to give you that. My IWB holster is a pain in the butt because I need to remove my belt to take it on/off. I have a CompTac paddle, but it doesn't go on and off as easily as the Fobus.
