Just a heads up to any and all (mm shooters out there. If you have purchased the big white box-o-Winchester, 100ct. and your once
reliable firearm is not so reliable it's the ammo. Two years of watching good guns fail to operate on this inferior ammo is too many.
Plain truth the crap is under-powered and most European service grade pistols (H+K, Sig, Browning HP..etc) need full power loads to function at peak. There is no way Win. can put the same components in a $12 box of 100 rds that they put in a $10 box of 50.
Rumor has it the ammo is being produced in Europe and the manuf. knows that the product is inferior and is keeping quiet about their relation to it.
The problem seems to be only with the big boxes. The 50 ct, boxes seem fine.

Not one single failure in my Glock 17 with this ammo in somewhere around 4500rds. It works fine for me. The old brass jacketed bullets were made by Montana Gold so I doubt they were sending them all the way overseas to be loaded into cases. The new bullets look the same but with a copper jacket, maybe they're made by Montana Gold too.

I reload all my own ammo with the obvious exception of 22 LR, just for that reason. I've had what I thought was name brand ammo give me such bad results. the only ammo I buy is Speer red dots for self defense.Once a year I'll buy all new and shoot up the old for fun.

Only the 9mm seems to have problems.I own a Sig 226, CZ75, multiple Browning HPs,Kahr P9, CZPO1, and S+W 4313 and have seen a marked decrease in performance with the big box Winchester, and only the big box and only in 9mm.

Interesting. I find my Hi Power shoots just fine with Walmart White Box. It actually feels hotter than Blazer Brass, which is what I shoot in my 1911 for training.

you don't reload .22's?
Think of how much $$ you're wasting.

No I have a 22 LR shrub in the back yard, just keep it pruned and it will produce all year.

What about UMC ammo? I just bought 250 rounds of 9mm for $29.99 at Wal-Mart

My Kahr MK9 and K9 work just fine on the Wal-Mart stuff. No problems at all.

hm, I have had NO problems with this ammo.
I use almost exclusively Win. white box ammo.
I have had it used in at least 4 to 6 different pistols and I have had no problems.
S&W 59 Series, Kelt-Tec P-11, Glock 19, Berretta 92FS,
I find it to be a bit dirty at times, but hey, you have to end up cleaning the gun anyway.

I would not doubt its not the best choice for power and accuracy,
but I see no problem using it as target ammo.

Also, I dont see why they ammo they put in the 100rd box would be any different than whats in the 50rd boxes,
unless they are coming from different places.

my Glock 19 and 26 eat all the 'white box' i can put through them.

but, about 2-3 rounds/box have a very noticable lack or excess of recoil. and, out of about 8k round of the stuff, i had one hard primer that took 4 strikes.
