Does anyone know why BladeForums' website has been down? Is it still in operation?

It had gone down a week or so ago because of 'data corruption' for a couple of days before it came back up, so it may be a similar problem.

Last I heard yesterday on Knife Forums, something happened to the server and Spark had to get a new one.

I have NOOOOOOOOOOO e-mail now because of the lack of "BF REPLY to THREAD" E-mail. What is the world coming to?!?!?! Now if I can just remember to always check the box for EDC threads so I at least get some REPLY e-mails from here.* :agree:

Hello, my name is bubbacatfish & I'm a(nother) Blade Forums refugee. I found this place a few days ago while searching for something to fill the BF Blues & I've got to say I like it here!! I recognize some names from BF & CPF & the thread topics couldn't be better, for me this place fills the middle ground between flashlights & knives beautifully so I expect I'll be spending a fair bit of time here in the future. Thanks to everybody for the great reading material & for what I'm sure will be the incentive to spend even more money on "toys"!!!* ;D

Also, my 2 cents. I don't think anyone should view different forums as competitors. That is what I like about EDC Forums. Activities such as cross-referencing between different forums is encouraged because there are no vile intentions. If people are here because other forums are down great. If they leave because Blade Forums are back up, to each his own, just as long as your are happy. There will always be members coming and going for whatever reason.
There always enough room on the internet for more cool forums such as this.

I am also one of the Bladeforums dispossessedl. Thanks to Ryan and Deaths Head for e-mail confirmation that my computer wasn't up the creek.

I do food forums in the morning (I am a chef) and like my blade fix at night.

I am actually a Brit living in Canada, but don't tell anyone :)

Canadian Connection is back up and I have just posted the the goverment will now let us buy shotguns and rifles with no registration.

Yeah I know you're a Brit living in Canada, so you're Canadian in residence if nothing else. Although some would argue about Mississauga truely being part of Canada...* ;D
