I hesitate to share my stuff , because there are some really good photographers here , and everybody's gear is so ... nice.
I shared this photo and the words below on my* "regular"* site ....
" I have been looking at pictures of peoples EDC gear , here some and on an edc site elsewhere. Everybody's stuff is so shiny and nice. I have some good gear , but it looks beat to shite. ... maybe because I actually do carry this crap every day.
Benchmade AFCK , missing a butterfly emblem on one side , and the clip has worked loose and disapeared, too - but the blade is M2 tool steel and will shave metal off my hammer . I tried it the other day.
$15 dollar Sharp brand watch date & time , military velcro band , needs to be bleached , it's a little funky when wet.
Surefire E2D. ... fresh batteries , some scratches.
Leatherman Wave. It's an old Wave. i guess there are a few new generations of them since I got mine. Whatever. This one works good still.
Rotring multi Pen , has a stylus , black ink , red ink , mechanical pencil depending on which side is up when you push the button. I found it in the snow a few years ago in a parking lot.
The .45 Sig ( loaded with Cor Bon HP ) isn't actually EDC. I carry a smaller Sig 9mm , but that's what I have on my belt after going to the range this morning , I've cleaned it but haven't gotten around to swapping it for the smaller one yet . "
