Does anybody have one of these.* Its a prybaby with a curve for better prying.* I'm wondering if it can still be used to tighten or loosen screws.* The curve doesn't look as if its to pronounced for that, but figured I'd ask.*

I have one. Actually, the screwdriver is on the other end, so the curve doesn't affect it.

You can also use the corners of the pryforks for philips in either the basic or the XL models. :)

OK, I should amend that. It isn't the best but it can be used for philips in a pinch. :P

Wondering if Peter has ever done a tool that has a Phillips driver...? Maybe in the future?

I have a Prybaby XL and would highly recommend it as a 2nd Prybaby. It rides well in your pocket and is just as easy to carry as the regular Prybaby, but I still like the original the best. I think I am up to about 10 Atwood tools! Somebody stop me before it's too late...

Yeah, Peter, stop him!!! ;)
Gadget Guy, let me know if your collection gets too big to handle, and I'll gladly take some of the burden off your hands. :lolhammer:

I have a lefty version that goes everywhere with me.* I'll never be tempted to pry with my Benchmade again. The angle looks to be about 20°. When I carry it in my pocket instead of my BOB, I keep the curve next to my leg and never notice it's there.

I have one, and usually carry it on the coin pocket of my jeans, tip down, curve out. Unnoticeable but present and easy to get at. When not in jeans, I move it to my key rings.
It is a great tool, and IMHO I only see advantages when compared to the standard Prybaby..

Why do like the original best?* Does it do some tasks better?* If so can you give exmples.*
Thanks to everybody for the replies.* I have a late May birthday so I gotta narrow the decision soon.

I think for me it's just a personal choice. You really can't make a bad choice on this one. I think if you are going to use your Prybaby real hard everyday, then the XL might be the better choice. If you just want the Prybaby there for when you need it, then go with the standard as it rides in your pocket a little better. I hope that helps...
