Hi guys, found the forums a week or so ago and like what I see! Keep up the good work everyone.

My EDC is as follows (see pic), in order of location on my person:

(front right pocket)
1. "unbreakable" comb
2. Leatherman Squirt S4

(front left pocket)
3. Albuterol inhalor <note 1>
4. Zippo plain-finish lighter <note 2>

(back left pocket)
5. Generic leather wallet. "Average citizen" contents

(back right pocket)
6. Handkerchief (sometimes two)

(left cargo pocket)
7. HP iPAQ h4155, carried in custom-made velcro pouch with velcro belt loop <note 3>

(right cargo pocket)
8. Blackberry 7750 <note 4>

(belt)
9. Keys on Lucky Secure-A-Key clip
10. Work badge <note 4>
11. Leatherman e306x with original pouch
11a. McFeely's PocketWrench II, carried in same pouch as e306x
12. Leatherman Charge Ti carried in LM Wave nylon pouch <note 5>
12a. Zebra collapsable pen, carried in same pouch as Charge
12b. Leatherman Bit Kit, carried in same pouch as Charge <note 6>
13. Yaesu VX-1R <note 7>
14. Motorola V3c RAZR (not pictured), carried in MOBO magnetic-seal pouch (pictured)

(on face :) )
14. Ray-ban P sunglasses. 100% UV protection and polarization to reduce glare

(on wrist)
15. Timex Triathlon full-function digital watch with metal band

(on keys)
9a. Inova Microlight
9b. Tornado whistle
9c. Speedpass

Notes:
<1> Carried only as needed
<2> Carried only if traveling out of city
<3> The best iPAQ ever made in my opinion. Supports WiFi and Bluetooth
<4> Carried to work and when I am on-call. Left behind any other time
<5> Pouch has been modified to black out the bright yellow "LEATHERMAN" text
<6> The bits from this bit kit fit both the Charge and the e306x knife
<7> Carried only when traveling. I also have another VX-1R programmed identically stored in the car for use by my wife when needed

Wishlist:
1. S30V PryBaby
2. SwissTech Utili-Key
3. Suunto Clipper for watchband
4. Suunto Micro for jacket zipper pull
5. Ring Thing (bottle opener ring)
6. Arc-AAA LED light

Further notes:

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, my phone camera is the only digital camera available to me. Speaking of the phone, in addition to my voice plan, I also have a broadband wireless internet plan, which allows me to connect my iPAQ to my phone via Bluetooth pretty much anywhere in the country where there is 1X service.

I'll probably be picking up the items on my wishlist over the next month, to round out my urban EDC. I also have a car kit that lives in my trunk, which has a full first aid kit as well as various medications.

As you can see, I'm quite overzealous when it comes to taking inventory of my items. I also make sure to keep everything well-maintained and shiny. Because of this, people seem to hesitate less to approach me for help fixing various things. (The on-going joke at work is "got a knife? I know who DOES!") ::)

Wow! That is a great urban carry list...I think I might use some of your ideas as I start to put my stuff together!

what's "secure-a-clip"? I can't quite spot it in your pic.

I kinda figured I'd get asked about the clip, since its somewhat hard to find. Its the clip thingy at the top of the keys picture. Its a simple clip that attaches to a belt or pocket. Its not a closed loop like most clips of that type, but rather it can be taken on and off at will.

I originally received one as a gift many years ago from a close friend, but I've also seen them at my local locksmith (of all places to find EDC!) and picked up a couple spares. A quick froogle search for "lucky secure-a-key" shows them available online for $3.50.

Items recently added:

--Carried--
Swisstech Utili-key
Coast mini LED flashlight, fits in my Leatherman pouch

--In car--
Brinkman Maxfire LX -- reviewed at http://flashlightreviews.com/reviews/brinkmann_maxfirelx.htm
Leatherman Kick ($5 Wal-Mart closeout!)

That Brinkman light is awesome. Its amazingly bright for its price. It easily fills in for my 3D Mag-lite.

Just curious, do you have any idea what it actually weighs?* I'm curious because of another thread about this and I'd like to know what "medium weight" is.

Fully Loaded - what does your EDC stuff weigh? (http://edcforums.com/index.php?topic=1601.0)

Better price maybe easier to find, unknown quality, look in wallyworld, at the keycounter in automotive mixed in with the color key tags and coiled thingies these are sold out more often than not but the price is a little better and no shipping charges.
I have destroyed one on a seatbelt reciever, bent it back close enough to function but not well until I could replace it, new one has been in use maybe nine months without a problem.
