Hi Physics,
I had one of these 2 years ago but with a white face, I gave it to a friend when I moved away. Since then I heard that they had all been disco'd, except for the one with the gold face. The black ones were actually starting to get some collectors interest because they were kind of rare.
Well....It seems that Casio just brought them back, (so much for collectors value) so I had to get one! What I remember of my old one was... well... it was BIG. It covered my entire wrist, but it was not "thick" like some g-shocks are.
Anyway I'll post more when it arrives. :coolsmiley:

It's here... man USPS Priority Mail is FAST!
Anyway, the watch is just like the prior editions.....HUGE :o
but the band is very wide & spreads the load so you barely notice it's there.
I LIKE IT!

I like that watch. Would it be possible for you to get some pics of it from different angles?

I don't have a digital camera, but I'll see if I can snap a few at work on Monday.
Seems like the camera at work grew legs >:(
If there's a WAL-MART nearby, esp. a "super wal-mart"... most likely they will have the "gold" one in stock.
If the camera shows up, or we get a new one, I'll take some pics.

Not to resurrect an old thread or anything, but I scored one of these (black face, gold hands, stainless bracelet) at Target tonight on the clearance rack for <$25. Normally $99.99. They had a bunch of stuff on sale. I also scored a timex diver for $20 and a couple his & hers dress watches (also Timex) for $15 each. The one I went in looking to pick up was the Timex Retrograde on a stainless bracelet, but the guy in line ahead of me snatched it up (normally $100, he got it for $25).
These deals were only at one target store, though. None of the other stores near me have anything on clearance in the watch section.

I have the gold faced one and I like it. It's very functional and chunky. I never had any problems with it. It goes well with khakis and khaki shorts. I think most EDC'rs can find use of this as a primary watch or as a back-up. I think the price makes it a gem.
