Glycine Airman watches

Anyone familiar with these?

They are pretty neat. I don't own one but I do have 3 Glycines, an Incursore, a Lagunare and a 1960's dress watch. I've thought about getting an Airman but find the dial confusing. What is the deal with these? Does the time read like a normal watch with respect to the hand positions or not?
