Just received a letter from my State Senator that the "Stand your Ground Biill" passed the Senate, and is now before the Governor for his Signature. :)

I goofed! :-[ The bill that passed the Senate and went to the Governor was the one that prohibits the State from confincating weapons like happened in New Orleans. The "Stand your ground bill" is still in the Senate. Hope it passes too.

So the bill before the Governor is a Castle Doctrine bill? AZ just passed ours. Good luck.

We just got CCW passed in Kansas. They are still trying to figure out how much money they get out of you to reinsnstate our rights, but I am hoping that something like this passes here also.

That's great news of Oklahoma. We're pushing for a Castle Doctrine law in Tennessee as well. At least we've had a CC law for over a decade and no retreat in your own home.
