A more conusing array of stuff...

PSP, headphones, games, movies, charger, TI-85
xD Flash memory (16MB + 128MB), USB stick, mini-tripod, Fujifilm A210 camera (taking photo...)
AA NiMH, AA lithium, AA alkaline, 2-cell Ray-O-Vac IC3 charger
cell phone battery, 12VDC adaptor + 2.1mm male barrel plug to female automotive DC adaptor (the price I pay for losing my AC cellphone charger), auto cellphone charger
Surefire U2, 2xCR123A in APS canister, generic nickel-plated LED light (fastened to strap inside backpack)
Checkbook, stamps, personal business cards, misc writing utensils, erasers, tape flags, stamps, loose change in an envelope (donations from the "candy dish fund" at work), "padfolio" with ... more stuff

I could have rattled off almost everything in my backpack from memory, but photographing it really drives the point home. Funny thing is that this "kit" is pared down from carrying all this in addition to a notebook computer in a Pelican 1470 case with related trimmings!

I could probably stand to lose some of that junk...

Less junk? Perish the thought! You've still got room in you bag, right? ;)

I have very little space remaining in my bag and the thought of carrying more is vaguely depressing; some of it I don't use more than once every few weeks!
