As you can see, the items are seperated into two groups. On the bottom are the items I carry on my person, and on the top are the items I carry in my Camelbak, which I have with me just about 24 hours a day.

On the bottom:

Surefire L2
Spyderco Delica
Leatherman Charge xTI
Comtech Stinger
Doug Ritter PSK
Cellphone
Wallet
20' Hank of Paracord

On the top:

100' Hank of Paracord
Light My Fire Swedish Firesteel
REI Stormproof Matches
12 Replacement Surefire CR123 Batteries
Spyderco 4" Ceramic Sharpening Stones
Adventure Medical "Day Tripper" Medical Kit
2 Large, Heavy Duty Plastic Trash Bags
Generic Space Blanket
Becker BK-7 Knife and Sheath
9' Roll of Flat Duct Tape
Digital Camera

Any suggestions? I am currently planning on adding a GPS unit when funds allow (for EDC and for hiking - I hike a lot), and I'm also currently thinking about getting a Peter Atwood Prybaby or possibly one of his Bug Out Bars.

Maybe substitute an AMK "Heatsheet" instead of the generic space blanket? Over on the Equipped to Survive web site they have gotten a pretty good vote by Doug Ritter. The Heatsheet runs about $5 or so and can fit two people.

And perhaps a waterproof match case for the REI matches?

Good looking kit!

Swiss Champ?

That's gotta be the all time great EDC essential.
