Thanks Denise. Just for information, as a test I tried the link from a friend's computer not five minutes ago and exactly the same thing happened. I can't access the competition because the application keeps quitting. This hardly ever happens on either of these computers. Both are G4 Macs.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with it. I don't have trouble accessing on either of my computers. When she gets a chance we'll have LowWorm check it out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sunnie, are you trying to access the contest directly from the thread link? Have you tried clicking on the banner at the top of the forum page?

That's crazy behavior, if it's just that particular thread that's causing you so much grief....

No, the result is the same whether I try accessing that forum either from the banner at the top of each page, or from the dedicated subforum. I've now tried from a third machine -- also a Mac G4 -- and Explorer goes to a transient gray screen and then says 'The Explorer Browser has unexpectedly quit, other functions have not been affected'. I know, it is weird isn't it?
