I guess I could but the SAS compass are around 30.00 so to keep the cost down I will see if their is a low cost type.

I think you would get a lot of interest in this kit, even with the $30 compass.

THANKS BRO... :)
The compass is not the only problem the sub mini led ...I only had 1 of :'(
I could build them with out the compass and led light....but it takes a lot of the usefullness away.
IDEAS PEOPLE ??? ;)

Wouldn't a "SUB-MINI survival tin" actually be a "MICRO survival tin?"
Just asking. :)
Sorry. My inner English major is sneaking out.

Might be difficult to get. Purchase of ephedrine is limited and monitored.

Plus in a survival situation I would prefer water purifaction tablets instead of ephedrine tablets
But it is a great kit. I might try to duplicate it.

Build them up and post a pic.... O0
Its really amazing what can be packed in a tiny space with a well thought out placement.
"Chemical food" is just a nod to military type kits...and since real bennies are illegal & hard to get for the most part and eph is not ,I thought it would be a semi good sub. I do agree water tabs might be better for the limited space....this was just a prototype.
Ephedrine tablets are not illegal and can be found... but most of it is really poor quality and just plain buffered junk....also due to all the meth heads it is a VERY watched item and should NOT be bought or carriered in any quanity....also it is a drug and not good for and hard on the body and should only be used as a last ditch effort ,IMO.

Very, very impressive for the size!
I see the tin is held closed by a rubber band which is a fine addition in itself, but is is waterproof enough for long-term pocket carry? There are things that will be ruined by moisture, maybe the tin could be sealed - perhaps by wrapping a strip duct or gaffer tape 'round the edge?
A humble suggestion - a couple of cable ties, as long as will fit, mashed in to fit the inner contour of the box. Won't take much place, but lots of things can be fixed by a cable tie. There are even non-disposable cable ties with a release button coming out (as I've read on Toolmonger)

Nice. I'm a big PSK fan myself. Have you tried a Doug Ritter kit yet?
