Avatar Dimensions

My request is for. . . the increase of the allowed dimensions of an avatar to 100x100.

I checked with somepeople and they thought I shouldn't unless given a good reason. I checked quite a few sites and it looks like as big as most of the sites I have found had was 80x80. I was told that it can eat more resources and some become distracting. That does not mean it will not change. I am new at the forum game and take advice from a couple of people that have worked with forums before.

Once resources are dedicated to avitars we have less for post. It doesn't seem like much to just one person, but as the board grows a lot of bigger avitars will mean it will slow down. Doesn't mean it won't happen like Jon said. It is just that we have to get this dog to hunt, before we teach it tricks.
