Hello,

Welcome to edcforums.

We are new at this and have aways to go before we are fully set up. We need your suggestions in order to make this forum the kind of place you would like to visit. We have not made a rules or faq page yet but we will get on it.

Since we are new, we know that we might not have all the catagories you want yet. Since we don't have many posts yet we might combine some areas if they are not active and we also might create more boards for those items that show then need a place of there own.

Many will want things different ways and we can't make everyone happy but we can try the best we can so please give us your suggestions. I have not yet had a chance to read but half of the posts out here. I will try and fix that when I can.

One catagory is very poorly named, I am not sure what to call an area that included daypack, briefcases, fanny packs, and such. Any suggestions?

It might be a good idea if any board related questions in this section started a different thread. That way after a period of time the topics could be used to establish a FAQ instead of having to search through just one thread to find 8 different question that could be addressed.
For example... I am wondeirng about changing the layout on the way I view the board. I would start a new thread with that topic. If someone else has a question about how to adjust the time display, or how to post something they would start a thread on those subjects.
I know we all try not to hijack threads on the forums, but it seems if we are especially vigilant here the FAQ's will build themselves.
Just a thought.

Bravo25 - I think that's a great idea. Hopefully Jon will be able to incorporate that into the site.

Should we also have a BST area?

Hi Jon,

There has been so much interest in titanium gadgets, that it might be nice to have its own category. What do you think?

Thanks,

Gadget Guy

I second this recommendation even though I know it may be a quite a broad category, but it is one that gains a lot of interest.
