Start Suggesting Catagories of EDC items

Start suggesting new cagatories, I think once we get a good pace of catagories. We can start figureing out intelligent ways to carry all of this stuff.

Going Small. I'm intrigued by small yet fully functional EDC items. I'll see what I can do to feed this EDC approach.

I have edc items that I want on my person.
I have edc items that I want on MPB no further than my office
I have edc items that I want in the vehicle, no further away than the parking lot.
I have edc item in the vehicle just for when the ****.

Anyone else break their EDC down in this manner?

Perhaps we should also have a place to list maufactures of edc pouches or a customizing, and modding section as well. Just a thought.

EDC Medications, Pill Fobs for tylenol and asparin or other meds.

Maybe category on two way radios. I am a Ham operator, but I think maybe Ham Radios is too narrow. Probably should inculde others like FRS & GMRS etc. under one banner for two way radios. That way more than just Ham members could respond.

As it is, I think a few forums and subforums could be condensed.

Pens and pencils could just be one forum, with no subforums.

Keychains and lanyards could be condensed into one subforum...

And aside from that, I don't think you don't need to say Other EDCable tools, just "Other tools" -- same goes for time pieces.

IMHO for a newborn forum, having a lot of categories is not a good thing, I just counted and there is 40 already :)

Using a live conference analogy: Small communities gather in small places, you only go to the bigger place when the crowd ask for it.

If you spread the userbase along a lot of subcategories, you make participation in every category less likely.

How about a catagory for misc. discussion of stuff not related to EDC? Maybe EDT...Every Day Talk.

I didn't see any place for forum related business like questions, feedback, problems. How about a newbie or practice section?

Like Radio said, a category for meds, fobs, similar would be good. I want a discussion on lip balm and the kinds members have used with good results.

Hello guys,

It's time for me to start making the site better now. I will be following your suggestions. I can't get them all done at the same time but will be working on it. Start making suggestions down in the Questions Problems and Suggestions section towards the bottom of the screen. There is still alot to be done but we are getting there.

ok...I think we have a place for all this stuff now but much of it is combined. When an area gets to big or one area starts getting alot of posts, I will create a seperate board for it.

Start making the suggestions in the Admin area now please.

And if I missed something Let me know down there.
